Produced by Sweden’s Black Spark Film & TV and directed by Jens Jonsson and Mani Maserrat, We come in Peace is a great example of massively activating Belgian financing without shooting in Belgium. (No worries, Belgian citizens: dozens of Belgian people worked on the project anyway!)  

After filming in Lithuania and Stockholm, huge VFX tasks (we’re talking multi-millioneuros) were completed in Belgium at Benuts for this Aliens-Come-to-Earth series set over modern-day Stockholm. Other Belgian studios, such as Studio l’Equipe for the grading and lab, and Sonhouse for the sound post-production, were activated. As for the music, it will be created by the gifted Flemish composer Raf Keunen, who was immediately captivated by the enthralling universe of this grounded sci-fi series.

Beside Productions happily brought these talents together and secured precious Wallimage support for this project to air in 2026.
