Törtel is one of the several projects co-produced by Beside with Munich-based Caligari.  A long-lasting relationship with Beside allows Caligari to benefit from recurring Belgian financing (Tax Shelter and Wallimage’s support on several occasions) and to access a pool of super talented boarding and animatic artists based in Liège.

As it always does, Beside Productions introduced Caligari to several potential Belgian studios and we jointly picked the one most adapted to the project.  As a result, since 2018, Caligari relies on Belgian talent for key parts of the production process of its animated series while relying on Beside to make it all happen, financially and operationally.  A copy/paste process can be deployed, maximizing the productivity of this collaboration: same partner, same contracts, same studio, same tasks, same output.  Same recipe, renewed satisfaction !
