The Swarm is a truly European 40M€ budget Co-pro series: developed by German producers, financed by The Alliance (ZDF, France Télévisions, RAI), mostly shot in Italy with a 2-week Belgian waterstage shoot in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic.

On set, a 60mx15m Rosco was built to recreate the Mediterranean horizon around LITES’ flooded stage to enact the story board requirements in the best and safest conditions possible for cast and crew.

In Belgium, a collaboration between Bravado Fiction and Beside Productions with financial support from Screen Flanders.
