Beside Productions goes to the max for this HBO MAX’s hard-hitting new series with VFX made in Belgium.

Malditos, a gripping series (7x52’) about a Gypsy family willing to dowhatever it takes to protect their clan, was directed by Jean-Charles Hue and Cécilia Verheyden. It is lead-produced by 357 Films and White Lion Films (group Mediawan) and co-produced by Beside Productions with the support of Beside Tax Shelter.

Filming took place entirely in France (Camargue), while VFX work was carried out in Belgium at Mac Guff, a smart way to benefit from Belgium’s extrafinancing and high technical expertise, while staying domestic for the shoot.
