Les Amateurs is an €11 million French-Belgian co-production shot at 90% in Belgium.

This action comedy is the French remake of hilarious BBC format The Wrong Mens, which tells the story of two ordinary men embarking on extra-ordinary adventures. Two ideal roles for iconic Belgian actor, François Damiens and uprising french star Vincent Dedienne.

Organized in two blocks, with a 95% belgian crew, the shoot spanned from Q4-2021 to Q1-2022 with a one-month break in between. On top of the crew, Belgian eligible expenses to Beside Tax Shelter financing were supplemented by the fees of the Belgian actors, the numerous stunts, the SFX and the sound & camera equipment used to capture these thundering scenes on board of a military aircraft or in other car chases. The multimillion-euro Tax Shelter funding was generously complemented by the enthusiastic support of Wallimage and Screen Brussels.
