Produced by Eddy Cinéma in collaboration with Beside Productions, Le Corset is an animated feature by Louis Clichy, co-director of Asterix and the Magic Potion.

The director opted for traditional animation, with brush strokes in Indian ink and watercolor colors. The film follows Christophe, a pre-adolescent in an orthopedic brace, as he grapples with his rather boorish farmer father, who in turn struggles with the changing world of agriculture.

Compositing, coloring and mixing were handled in Belgium by the Brussels-based studio L'Enclume.

Beside Productions secured the support of Screen Brussels, the Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles cultural fund and Belgian public broadcaster RTBF.  KMBO is set to distribute in France, while Playtime handles international.

Le Corset is set for completion in Q1 2026.
